The village is situated just on the way of NH-59 and 38 KM distance from Berhampur, the Business Hub of South Odisha and just 2 KM from the City ASKA. Its physical appearance made it the Modern and well communicated Village.

For all occasions like, Diwali, Dusherra, Marriage, Thread ceremony near by people completely depends its crackers of different varieties of sound and light in nature. 30-40 percent of villagers lives their lives on this profession. Of course every year, some major losses happens for this crackers mishandling.
Another well known item of Nalabanta is the Presidental Award Winner Prahlad Natak. There is a group of farmers associated in this organisation, to pass their time for a good cause.
The beautiful Rushikulya River flows beside the village. There are 7 temples increases its beautifulness.
The main Festival is “Nrusingh Yatra” which celebrates every year in Summer, as per odiya calender on Baisakh Purnima. This celebration continues for 3-4 days. people enjoys with different cultural programmes, like Opera, Prahlad Natak, Theatre, Bharat Leela, etc.
